April 28th marks the National Day of Mourning. We ask everyone to take a moment and recognize Workers who have been injured and killed while on the job.
Families, Workers, Employers, and Communities come together each year at ceremonies held around the Country to mourn those who have been injured, become sick or were killed at work. We also renew our commitments to creating healthy and safe workplaces for all.
Last year, 131 B.C. workers died from a workplace injury or disease, please take a moment to reflect on those losses and promote safer workplace habits.
